APU selected by MEXT for the AY2018 Private University Research Branding Program (Type B)

APU has been selected to receive funding support from the AY2018 Private University Research Branding Program (Type B) under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).The purpose of the Private University Research Branding Program is to facilitate research carried out by private universities. Said research should endeavor to showcase the university’s uniqueness and in doing so, enhance its identity and strengthen its position under the leadership of its president.

APU’s project title for the program is “Establishing a global brand for APU as a base for the research, cultivation and implementation of inclusive leadership” which ties in with the APU2030 Vision to “create individuals who can change the world”. Through this project, APU wishes to brand itself as a as a university that “tackles and solves current issues faced by global societies today” and in doing so, make positive contributions to the society at large.
