APU Students Form the “ANA Oita Regional Contribution Team”

Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) has formed the “ANA Oita Regional Contribution Team” in collaboration with the ANA Oita Branch and ANA Akindo Co., Ltd., based on the comprehensive partnership agreement between APU and All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA).
This initiative aims to contribute to the local community in Oita Prefecture by having APU students participate in corporate activities carried out by the ANA Oita Branch in the 2025 academic year. Through industry–government–academia collaboration, as well as direct cooperation between industry and academia, students will engage in real corporate projects while helping advance the ANA Group’s community engagement efforts in Oita. Furthermore, this initiative supports APU’s mission to cultivate globally minded individuals capable of contributing to local communities while driving innovation on an international scale.
Planned Core Activities
- Tourism promotion initiatives for Oita Prefecture in anticipation of the 1,300th anniversary of Usa Jingu Shrine
- Corporate activities that encourage increased use of Oita Airport
- Participation in sports events supported by the ANA Group (e.g., Oita International Wheelchair Marathon, Tour de Kyushu)
- Additional corporate initiatives that contribute to the local community
