A gathering of students from numerous countries, dancing to English and Vietnamese songs, marking the start of Vietnamese Week.

“MOVIE NIGHT” 18:00 - 20:30 @ Fountain area OR cafeteria (in case of rain)
Showing of the movie The Rebel (2010) - a highly recommended Vietnamese movie that depicts the spirit of Vietnamese people during the war. With English subtitles.

“SOCCER TOURNAMENT” 12:00 - 17:00 @ Main ground
This soccer tournament will be held to promote sportsmanship among multicultural communities at APU.

“PROM” 17:30 - 21:30 @ Student Hall
An annual event during the Vietnamese Week which has been evaluated as one of the most prestigious events across the multicultural weeks. This year, the prom will revolve around the theme “Golden Champagne”, which includes Vietnamese food, snacks, Waltz dancing…

“TRADITIONAL GAMES” 12:25 - 17:40 @ Campus
An event where students from foreign cultures can enjoy some of Vietnam’s most popular traditional games.

“GRANDSHOW – THE SAIL” 18:30 - 20:30 (doors open at 18:00) @ Millennium Hall
On the closing night of Vietnamese Week is the showing of the play/musical named “The Sail”. “The Sail” takes place on a remote island in modern Vietnam. The story tells the story about the life of people in the island, the hardships in their work and the threats from nature. Through that, the show depicts the charming, invincible spirit of the Vietnamese people.
