First day(1/19) Mon

Parade 12:10 ~ 12:25 @ Fountain
There will be dancers with colorful, authentic, and traditional African clothes and African beat music for opening parade from all parts of Africa. There will be an announcement of the events for African Week. 

Second day(1/20) Tue

Kenyan Tea & Coffee trial 14:00 ~ 18:00 @ Cafeteria Display Area
Taste of Kenyan Coffee will be provided for free whoever comes to the booth in cafeteria.  Please stop by to sip our coffee and enjoy the taste of Africa for a moment.

Third day(1/21) Wed

Movie Night 16:30 ~ 19:30 @ F105
For understanding of African History, we will show the sports drama film called “Invictus”, which features Nelson Mandela, one of the most important key person in African history and his effort to create the unity of racial division between black and white in South Africa through the friendship of the captain of national rugby union team.

Fourth day(1/22) Thu

African Week Prom 19:00 ~ 20:30 @ Student Union Ⅱ 2F Multi Purpose Hall
African Week Prom party with the theme of “UMOJA-the spirit of togetherness-” welcomes anyone and anyone wearing African clothes can join the contest of Best African clothes.  There is the prize for both girl and boy. 

Fifth day(1/23) Fri

Grand Show 18:45 ~ 20:30 @ APU Millennium Hall (Doors open 18:30)
“Carpe diem-seize the day-” is the theme for Grand Show for this year.  It shows a drama of a boy growing up in Africa with African historical background combined with music and fashion show.  In the end of the Grand Show, there is a band playing piano and guitar with famous songs.

African exhibition @ Cafeteria Display Area
National flags of African nations, African tribal masks and traditional dolls, and even an ostrich egg
will be displaying.  All the goods are from several embassies of African nations. 
Photo shooting and the purchase of African traditional clothes and hats are available.

African Food Lunch time @ APU Cafeteria  *Number of food is limited.
Peanut chicken soup and rice (Traditional soup in West Africa)
