APU would like to thank everybody who so kindly assisted the APU students in their fund-raising campaign to and their efforts to Typhoon Ondoy in The Philippines.
15 students from the Philippines are currently pursuing their studies at APU.
"Help for The Philippines during Natural Disasters" was organized by student volunteers who launched a donations campaign.
The following is a report submitted by the students:
Typhoon 16 (Ondoy) which hit the Philippines and the capital city of Manila on September 26, 2009, was a disaster of unparalleled scale over the last 40 years. It caused 300 fatalities and over 4 million people were badly affected.
