The Ritsumeikan Center for Asia Pacific Studies (RCAPS) maintains the Master's Student Field Research (MFR) Support Program. This program enables early-career researchers at APU to enhance the value and rigor of their research.
We will start accepting applications for the program today, and hold the Application Information Session on Oct 11th.

The 5th RCMA Special Lecture will be held on October 4, 2017, on the theme: “Today’s Globalizing Japanese Food Market – how to deal with diversity.” The Lecture will be given by Mr. Takeshi Shinmura, Executive Vice President of GANKO FOOD SERVICE, Co. Ltd., a company that is building a Japanese restaurant chain in Osaka and nationwide.
Dr. Shinmura will talk about GANKO’s efforts toward globalization and diversification in the traditional Japanese cuisine industry including how GANKO is handling the rapid increase in inbound demand and addressing employee internationalization and other human resource issues.

Beginning on Wednesday, October 4, the Oita City Industrial Development Plaza and APU-NEXT as an affiliated research center of the RCAPS will hold 5 seminars in total entitled “The World’s Leading Companies - Management Strategies of Global Niche Top Companies.”

RCAPS has begun calling for audience members for the 15th Asia Pacific Conference. Audience members can attend for free but need to register in advance. Also, there will be a reception on Saturday, November 11th, for which there is a separate fee.
