The theme for this year's conference was "Asian Cultures: Confluence and Divergence" and was jointly organized by Kyung Hee University of Korea with cooperation from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The conference addressed various issues of Asia's cultural phenomena, focusing on popular culture and its impact on people, communication, and society.
