The Ritsumeikan Center for Asia Pacific Studies (RCAPS) held an international conference titled "Global Movements in
the Asia Pacific " having received aid from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. The conference was an
international academic event which addressed the theme of the global movements of people, capital, good, services,
technology and information, especially as they affect the Asia Pacific.
