On Wednesday July 20, 2011, a Departure Ceremony was held for students taking part in the Student Exchange and Independent Study Abroad Programs from the 2011 Fall Semester.

Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. ARII offered a few words of encouragement to the participating students followed by a student address by SHOJI Tomoya (APM2, Japan) who will be studying at York University (Canada). Mr. SHOJI said that “Although we will be studying at different universities, let’s keep in touch and develop a network of friends. Let’s also try as many different things as we can and make our time as an exchange student as fulfilling as possible.
Thirty-nine students (25 domestic students and 14 international students) will study at 28 universities in 16 countries and regions around the world for a semester or a year.
We hope that your life at your host university is fulfilling and exciting for all of you!
