On Tuesday, December 21st, 2010, a grand performance was held to wrap up "Graduation Festival! ‘07" (G-Fes), a graduation event organized primarily by 8th semester students (2007 entrants) who will graduate in March 2011.
With this event, upperclassmen sought to communicate four years of college life at APU?everything from the knowledge they gained to the importance of having dreams to the value of time?to the underclassmen. A variety of events were held during the four days of festivities including a surreal nighttime light-up of the campus, an exhibit of a tree with student wishes tied on it and a mini-concert. Costume coordinator MAEDA Kanako (APS4, Japan) remarked on the event: "I wanted to create one last memory at APU so I joined G-Fes. I hope that G-Fes gave the younger students a feeling of wanting to try something new during their time at university."
