On Sunday, January 15, 2012, APU student IKEYAMA Tsuyoshi (APM2) won the All-Japan ANFA Fresh Flair 2012, a flair bartending contest, held at the Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel Club Resort.
Flare bartending is a style of cocktail bartending entertainment that gained popularity with the release of the 1980’s film “Cocktail” staring Tom Cruise.
The Fresh Flair contest is known as the gateway to success for budding bartenders. By winning this contest, Tsuyoshi also received recognition as a professional flair bartender.
