    APU student HONDA Shunsuke (APS3, Japan) successfully applied for the HANDA Scholarship – Cambodia Summer Holiday Study Program*, a short-term exchange project run by the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Fukuoka. Through this program, Shunsuke will now have the opportunity to complete a three week journey around Cambodia following a travel plan of his own design, and enjoy interacting with the locals he meets there. “It is an honor to have been chosen from out of all those who applied for this scholarship. I am so excited that this experience will bring me one step closer to realizing my dream of contributing to the development of developing countries. Through my interaction with the locals I hope to discover what it is they need and apply this information to my future career design”.

    *The HANDA Scholarship – Cambodia Summer Holiday Study Program
    By providing high quality opportunities for students studying in the Kyushu/Okinawa region to experience the real Cambodia, this program aims to create a bridge that links the youth of Kyushu and Cambodia. This program is now in its 5th year.
