Takeshi falls in love with an Uzbek girl named Shirin at first sight, which turns his life up and down. His decision to visit Uzbekistan in the seek of that Uzbek girl is followed by exploration of the whole country’s customs. Whilst wandering around the whole country, he is amazed by the hospitality of the nation, and its marvelous traditions. Witnessing the infrastructure, which blends modern and ancient styles, spikes up his curiosity in the country. His best impression would be the weddings and traditional clothes which are inseparable parts of Uzbek mentality.

This is the first time in APU`s history that Uzbekistan Week is taking place. I strongly believe that the first Uzbekistan Week will become the most brilliant event in the history of Uzbek students’ page. Our goal for this year’s event is not just bringing great performances to you, but also introducing you Uzbek`s distinctive culture, shaped by its unique history, and emphasising the importance of empathy and solidarity.
We hope that Uzbekistan Week will become one of the most memorable multicultural weeks for all of you as an APU students or APU community member!
