"Pasifika Booth" Created to give you a glimpse of Oceania on campus through out the week,
where we will have pictures, videos, music, small handicrafts and art pieces
on display by our local artists from each of our individual countries.

Malo e lelei, Kia Orana, Bula Vinaka, Talofa Lava, Kia Ora and Aloha!

It is with great privilege to have our culture welcomed so warmly by a foreign land, to be given the opportunity to share a little piece of our tropical home, a glimpse of our laidback lifestyle and to deliver the truest taste of Oceania and the South Pacific we can possibly offer.

Scattered across the vast waters of the South Pacific Ocean, once upon a time our ancestors, guided by the stars, made settlement on the shores of the archipelagos we call our home today. Between Asia and the Americas, you will find; Oceania- a region made up of three groups of islands, Micronesia, Melanesian and Polynesia. Though we are made up of different countries, cultures, languages, and people, we are have been unified by one of the most important resources we share, the glistening waters of the Pacific Ocean, or rather - “PASIFIKA” originating from ‘Pacific’ which means Calm, Peaceful and Serene.

Join us from Monday 18th- Friday 22nd as we take you back with us to the Islands for an experience of a lifetime!
