India has emerged to become one of the fastest growing economies in the world, so there is a renewed interest in India in the Japanese business community, media and academia.

Japanese Investments in India and trade between the two countries are higher than ever before. More and more people in both countries are travelling to and studying and working in the other country.

It is in this context that we need a forum in Japan to explore new possibilities and heights in the bilateral relationship and to facilitate cultural exchange. Amid this backdrop, we have organized the 1st APU Indo-Japan Conclave.

Indian Week is as a medium for budding managers from India to express their thoughts and showcase their culture. We aim to attract the attention of APU’s diverse population of students as well as alumni and corporations. We effectively combine corporate support and student participation to make our event a success every year. This year, we have prepared a spectacular program of events and a stunning Grand Show. Special events include a yoga session, the Indo-Japan Conclave, an Indian tourism showcase and the Tokyo Presentation and Interaction Session, which features 10 high school teachers from India. Last but not least, the theme of our Grand Show is Indian Joint Family, where love, affection and sacrifice overrule money, hatred and selfishness. We look forward to seeing you, so don’t miss it!
