Sri Lankan Traditional Street food items
Sri Lankan street food which is known all over the world for its delicious, spicy flavor will be available for our APU friends.
It is not an easy task to represent a country with a vibrant culture spanning over 2,500 years, but we aim to bring you the essence of Sri Lanka so that you can experience our homeland, in its purest sense.
We will start the week with our Sri Lankan Parade on Monday, featuring feats of fire-breathing. This will be followed by the acoustic treat of Sri Lankan music on Tuesday, and traditional Sri Lankan games on Wednesday. Together with Sri Lankan cuisine in the cafeteria, these events will bring to you the unique flavor of Sri Lanka. Naturally, the experience of Sri Lanka Week would not be complete without our grand show on Friday.
In closing, let me take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the 76 Sri Lankan Week Ambassadors at APU for their dedication and commitment, to all of our loved ones back at home for their support, and finally to each and every one of you who have helped us make this event a success. I hope that this Sri Lanka Week will be a memorable experience for all of you, and all of us!
