APU Empowerment Week 2016 is a one of a kind event, focusing on individual empowerment through the development of personal skills and the opportunity to share entrepreneurial knowledge with current leaders.

APU has an environment abundant with many prospects for students and others to learn and hone various skills. This year's Empowerment Week focuses on not just developing skills, but in presenting interactive activities which enable students to learn from top people in the entrepreneurial sector. We define empowerment as a changing process which begins from within, and is adapted to suit the needs of each individual. This is then paired with knowledge and resources that will give them the motivation to push themselves to a point in their lives where they feel ready to achieve and take on the challenges in their lives with an intention to succeed.

Empowerment is not simply about giving people power, but about initiating a change in each individual which will enable them to advance. The students of APU can then forge a name for themselves from the ideas they have formed, in the corporate world as well as their personal lives.
