Speaker’s Profile Naoko Takasu‐san has over 20 years of experience in the development sector with multilateral and bilateral institutions as well as private sector. Prior to joining APU, she worked for UNDP for 15 years including as Deputy Resident Representative a.i. in UNDP Tajikistan, Deputy Resident Representative (Programme) in UNDP Pakistan. Her further experience in UNDP includes: Country Programme Specialist in the Country Office Support & Quality Assurance Division of the Regional Bureau of Asia and Pacific based in Bangkok; Programme Management Specialist in UNDP Representation Office in Tokyo, and Programme Specialist in UNDP Iraq. Prior to joining UNDP, she worked at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, International Finance Corporation, and Japan International Development Organization, Ltd. Naoko‐san is from Japan and has a Master in Development Management from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines. |
