JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) has 76 offices in 55 countries around the world, providing international business support to Japanese companies and attracting foreign companies to Japan (investment-in Japan promotion). JETRO is an organization that knows what Japanese companies want from collaboration with universities.
JETRO and APU signed a partnership agreement on November 2, and now, JETRO officials will be here to tell APU students how to thrive in the Japanese corporate world. If you are interested in working for a Japanese company, please join us. The content is primarily for international students, both graduate and undergraduate, but domestic students are also welcome.

Experts will explain in English about visas, foreign human resources valued by Japanese companies, why Japanese companies hire foreigners, etc.

This event will be the kick-off event for JETRO DESK, which will be set up in the Career Office. JETRO DESK is an opportunity for APU students to directly contact JETRO for advice on how to find employment in international companies and how to conduct trade with foreign countries. There is also an explanation of how to make use of that DESK.
