Current Student Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members Summer Activities Implemented

Current Student

The Current Student Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members have been holding ongoing discussions to further develop this year’s activity theme—the Lifelong Learner (LLL) Initiative. In addition, they organized an exchange meeting with past Summit Members and faculty mentors, broadening their perspectives for future activities through intergenerational dialogue.

Within the LLL Initiative, one of the major future targets is called Active Seniors. With this focus, APU aims to realize a campus where, in addition to diversity in nationality, ethnicity, and gender, age diversity is also embraced—creating an environment where anyone can live and learn freely.
AP House 4 will be one of the key hubs for realizing this vision. The dormitory is envisioned to become a satellite hub that fosters cross-generational exchange and collaborative learning across different life stages. As part of this effort, a field survey was conducted this summer.

Looking ahead, the Current Student Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members will continue to explore the LLL Initiative in greater depth and work toward concrete plans both on campus and off campus, utilizing AP House 4 as a central base.
