What is HIIRAGI?
HIIRAGI is a project that creates a gathering place for students and local residents of the Kamegawa area—a hub where people can connect and share information. While preserving the warmth and unique culture of Kamegawa, the project aims to envision the future of the town brought together. By utilizing a vacant store in the shopping street, HIIRAGI offers a comfortable space to spend time and hosts a variety of events throughout the year.
Community Space Opening Event
On Saturday, January 24, an opening event was held at the community space “Minna no Ibasho HIIRAGI.” Many local residents attended, and an interactive booth inviting participants to write “What I love about Kamegawa” naturally sparked conversation and connection. The space was filled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. HIIRAGI will continue to grow as a place cherished by both students and community members.
