Kyushu Institute of Technology, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, and Iizuka City Jointly Held “High School English Presentation Camp”
On March 15, 2026, Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech), in collaboration with Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) and Iizuka City, held the “High School English Presentation Camp” based on their partnership agreement. The event provided high school students in Iizuka City with the opportunity to explore social issues and the future of society, and to present their ideas in English.
On the day of the event, a total of 18 university students, 11 from Kyutech and 7 from APU, participated as support staff. They provided guidance on presentation skills and English expressions, facilitated discussions during group work, and offered advice on high school life and the attitude needed to thrive in an international community.
This initiative was implemented with the aim of fostering globally minded and digitally skilled high school students in Iizuka City. Through group work and dialogue with university students, participants gained opportunities to think deeply about society and their future from diverse perspectives. For the university students as well, interaction with high school students served as a valuable educational experience.
Kyutech will continue to support the learning and development of the next generation through collaboration with local communities and partner universities.
