“.Knots” Pitch Event and Kickoff Event Held
On Friday, May 1, 2026, a pitch event for the Spring Semester 2026 program “.Knots,” one of the initiatives under the APU Connection Hub, APU’s platform for social collaboration activities, was held.
“.Knots” is a co-creation program in which APU students work together with companies and local communities over a three-month period to address various questions and challenges. This semester, participating organizations included Yoshimoto Kogyo Holdings Co., Ltd., Arnet Corporation, Mirairo Inc., and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd.. Each organization presented challenges they are facing as well as business ideas they hope to further develop, while recruiting students to collaborate with them.
More than 50 students attended the pitch event, and 25 students were selected for the program. On Wednesday, May 13, a kickoff event was held, providing an opportunity for participating students and company representatives to meet for the first time. Going forward, students will work closely with the companies on their respective projects, with an interim presentation scheduled for June and a final presentation planned for July.
