The periods students may reserve campus facilities for individual use will change as of Saturday, July 2.

※Only 1 tennis court is able to be used at the present time due to the construction work going on in that part of campus.

<How to Make a Reservation>

①Make a facility reservation using the “APU Facilities/Equipment Reservation Site”

※If you are getting a group together to use a facility, each person must make their own reservation at the above website except for groups using the tennis court. Only one person from the group needs to make a reservation to use the tennis court.
- ②Everyone using the facility must show their student ID card at the Gymnasium Security Office prior to facility use.

Students who want to use campus facilities must read the attachment and be sure to follow individual use guidelines.
Take steps to prevent heatstroke, such as drinking plenty of fluids to stay hydrated, when it’s hot and humid.

A Lifesaving Training Course will be held for clubs and circles to ensure they are able to conduct their activities in as safe a manner as possible. The course will focus on how to perform CPR, how to use an AED, tips to prevent and treat heat-related illnesses (heat stroke, etc.), and basic first aid techniques. Lifesaving Training Course participants should be club/circle core members.
*Sports clubs/circles:Required to attend. (Limit of 2 people per organization)
*Dance clubs/circles:Strongly encouraged to attend. (Limit of 2 people per organization)
*Art & Culture clubs/circles:Clubs/circles that want to attend. (Limit of 1 person per organization)
*Core members who have not taken part in a Lifesaving Training Course since enrolling in APU should be given priority when deciding who will attend.
(If you have participated in a First Aid Training Course when getting an automobile license, please allow someone else to participate. We want people who have not participated in this kind of training before to attend.)

Calling all students involved in on-campus or off-campus extracurricular activities such as sports, dance, the arts, debate, business competitions, international exchange, and volunteer activities to apply for the “Incentive Scholarships for Self-motivated
Students!”
(100,000 yen awarded to student organizations, 50,000 yen awarded to individual applicants)
The main objective of this scholarship is to recognize students actively involved in extracurricular self-motivated activities. The scholarship has been broken into three separate award categories of “Social Contribution Award,” “Award for Excellence
in Cultural Activities, Arts, and Sports,” and “Award for Outstanding Contributions to Learning.” Both individual students and student organizations are eligible to apply. It is also possible for individuals involved in off-campus activities to apply.
The University will widely publicize the activities of selected organizations/individuals within the APU community.

Scholarship Categories
①Social Contribution Award
Student organizations or individuals whose activities significantly contributed to solving problems confronting local communities or society as a whole either within Japan or overseas.
②Award for Excellence in Cultural
Activities, Arts, and Sports
Student groups or individuals who have made continuous efforts to achieve the high goals they have set and who have a record of excellence in one of the areas of cultural activities, the arts, or sports. *This includes
participation in extracurricular competitions. (Competitions independent of a course.)
③Award for Outstanding Contributions to Learning
Student groups or individuals who have organized and held creative events or activities that utilize their
studies at APU to share their learning with a wide range of people.
Activity Period
Activities must have taken place between July. 1, 2021 - June 30, 2022.
