We will hold several mandatory new student orientation sessions to help you proceed toward enrollment.

1. Preparation for orientation

Regarding change of venue and time for the April 2023 Entrance Ceremony
March 28 APU Account (ID & Password) Issued

Students will be sent their APU account user ID and password through the Online Enrolment Procedures System in the evening on March 28. You will need your APU account login details to access all of APU’s systems, including your APU email, the university’s online noticeboard (Campus Terminal), Zoom, and for online course registration. Students will be required to login to their APU Zoom account to participate in these sessions. Be sure to attend the Information System Guidance on March 28 for more detailed information.

Orientation guidance seminars will be held at the designated dates and times below. Please see the Orientation Schedule (PDF version) for more information.

*International student: Any student with a student visa. Domestic student: Any student with Japanese nationality, and any foreign student who has any other type of visa.

▶09:00-17:00 Address registration (including enrolling in National Health Insurance system and local tax declaration), Student ID Card Distribution, Bank account applications/Face to Face/Mandatory/F104
International students will register their address, enroll in Japan's National Health Insurance system, fill out local tax declaration forms and bank account application paperwork. Students who do not live in the AP House, or students who have been living in Japan before enrolling at APU do not need to attend. Please pick your student ID card up between 10:00~16:00 at F108-F110 on April 3.
