Speaking your mother tongue is like riding a unicycle. When you learn a second language, you add a wheel, and it becomes a bicycle. A bicycle can take you farther and faster than a unicycle. What happens when you learn one or two more languages? You add a third or fourth wheel, making it more stable and comfortable than a bicycle. You can travel farther, faster, and see a world that a unicyclist could never even imagine. I encourage you to learn a foreign language and discover a world only you can see. I believe it will change your life.
