	 Throughout the long history of Northeast Asia, South Korea, Japan and China have closely interacted with each other. Recently, the nations of Northeast Asia have made solid progress in diversifying and intensifying regional cooperation, but there have been major obstacles, as well. This presentation presents an assessment of the prospects for future regional cooperation in Northeast Asia, with a particular focus on the trilateral cooperation among these three countries. In the presentation, four areas are identified in which progress can be made in the short term.
