As informed through Campus Terminal, the University has cancelled classes from Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22 because of the earthquakes and aftershocks affecting Kyushu. Due to this cancellation, the APU Library (including MMR) will be operated as below schedule.

【Temporary closed】April 16th (Sat) ～ April 20th (Wed)
【Partly opened】April 21st (Thu)　～ April 24th (Sun)
*From April 25th (Mon) it will be opened as regular schedule

Regarding the partly closing of the APU Library (MMR) from April 21st (Thu) to April 24th (Sun).
During the period mentioned above, the Library will be partly closed as below.
・Only the 1st floor will be available. The PANGAEA will be also available.
・Only the returning service of books will be available and the lending service will be suspended.
*The opening hours also indicates to MMR: 9:00～18:00 for 21st (Thu) and 22nd (Fri), and 10:00～18:00 for 23rd (Sat) and 24th (Sun).

Handling of the books
1)As for books due from April 18th (Mon) to 22nd (Fri), the due date will be extended to April 25th (Mon) for APU users. There will not be a charge for extending the returning date. Please check your lending status with "MyLibrary".
2)The temporary closed period (9 days) of the Library will be excluded from the accrual period of arrears.
3)Books ordered from Ritsumeikan University will be reserved at the Library until lending service restart.
4)Although you receive an arrival e-mail of the books you have reserved, they cannot be lent until the lending service restart. Please come pick them up after the lending service restart.
