Remarks from President Deguchi Haruaki
I am extremely pleased to see APU selected for this project. I believe this will be a significant boost to the education and research of Inclusive Leadership that will support the APU2030 Vision: APU graduates possess the power to change the world. The most important aspect of being selected for this project is that our students and faculty will be stimulated to work harder and local community will also celebrate. By enhancing APU’s local and global reputation, I hope we will be better able to contribute to national and worldwide development while empowering local stakeholders in Beppu and Oita. I will be giving concrete directions for progression and doing my utmost to help this program reach its objectives.
