RCAPS Current Research Seminar Report “Building Receptive Pragmatic Awareness Through Reading”.
On September 21, Associate Professor Steven Pattison, of the Center for Language Education (CLE) held a seminar entitled “Building Receptive Pragmatic Awareness Through Reading”.
In this seminar, Professor Pattison discussed the need for greater awareness to be given to the teaching of pragmatics in language learning. The discussion, which included participants from all over Japan, focused on the approach to achieving this focus on pragmatics in language teaching.
