Reasons for Participating in the Program
I belong to a club that organizes sports events, and through our activities, I have witnessed countless instances of people finding joy through sports and regaining a positive outlook. These experiences have made me keenly aware of the immense power sports can give people, and I want to use that power to enhance the happiness of more people. To achieve this, I believe it's necessary to learn how to make sports not just a "pleasure" but also a viable "business," capable of generating sustainable value. That's why I decided to apply for this program focused on sports business, determined to gain more practical learning and experience.
How the Program Helped You Grow
During the field study, we explored strategies to increase the number of new visitors. Considering both attracting new fans to the club and fostering high loyalty, we found it challenging to develop future-oriented analyses and strategies based on limited data. Particularly in Singapore, with its diverse community, it was crucial to consider how to direct people's limited leisure time toward watching sports, while taking this background into account. When I eventually take on a business role, I aspire to view matters from multiple perspectives and devise optimal strategies. To achieve this, I aim to deepen the experience gained through this program and cultivate practical skills applicable in real-world settings throughout my academic journey.
Message for Students Interested in The Program
The field study program is an engaging opportunity that allows you to examine matters from multiple angles, broadening your personal growth and future options. Participating deepens your understanding of business and equips you with practical perspectives unattainable through classroom learning alone. I think that much of the content is applicable not only to sports but also to various other fields. Another major feature is the opportunity to experience Singapore's business environment, distinct from Japan's. I also think that for students seeking to broaden their values and horizons, this experience promises to be highly stimulating and rewarding.
