Q1.Please tell us what activities were prepared in the program. What did you learn from those activities?

Immersion Program is a one month program you can study Vietnamese language in the morning, and mainly cultural activities and exchange activities with local people in the afternoon. You can acquire new knowledge and awareness in this program. Language classes are adapted to each student’s language level so I could keep my high motivation in learning. Also, in cultural activities I could learn about the local history and feel the difference from modern life.

Q2. How do you want to make use of the skills and experiences from the program to your future?

After participating to this program, I realized the importance of learning spontaneously. It was my first time to study a foreign language other than English. Of course I was worried about going to a foreign country to study a language I didn’t understand at all, but more than that, I could devote to my studies having the interest and motivation to pursue the language. Moreover, through studying the language, it made me want to know more about Vietnam. I want to not only learn about things I’m interested in but also spontaneously learn about problems of modern society, and make them into my motivation for future self-development.

Q3.Please give a message to future participants.

You might think one month is quite long to keep your motivation, However, it felt short as I felt it wasn’t enough time. Daily life, food, habits, everything was fresh for me, so all of them were exciting and I kept having new discovery until the end of the program. If you want to participate to this program but feeling uneasy, you don’t need to worry. You will have teachers who will take good care of you and comrades studying with you. You can experience exciting life and have many attractive experiences. Please do join if you are interested in this program.
