Reasons for Participating in the Program
APU’s long breaks allowed me to explore learning opportunities. I joined this program because it provided chances to use Korean and was led by my seminar professor, Professor Kim. Studying English, Chinese, and Korean at APU sparked my interest in language comparison, making this program a great fit for me.
How the Program Helped You Grow
I learned how to conduct research, analyze findings, and present results. My study on Korean and the Jeju language deepened my understanding of linguistic and cultural differences. This experience will help in my seminar research and thesis, and it also motivated me to study Korean more seriously.

Field Studies let you learn through real experiences. They offer knowledge and insights that go far beyond what you can gain from ordinary tourism.
I interacted with local students, attended Korean lectures with interpretation, and discovered aspects of Jeju beyond tourism. If you want to explore beyond the classroom and gain practical knowledge, this program is a fantastic opportunity!
