Double Degree Program (Undergraduate) NEOMA Business School (NBS)

Program Characteristics
This double degree program allows students from APU and Neoma Business School (NBS) in France to complete two years of study at their home university and two years at the host university, for a total of four years, and obtain a bachelor's degree from both universities.
APU College of International Management (APM) students who are eligible to participate in this program will develop excellent academic results and a global perspective through the program. They will also gain an understanding of geopolitical issues and involvement in international relations, as well as the necessary skills to become an internationally-minded individual. The program is conducted entirely in English, but the study of French is required. Moreover, in the final semester of the program at NBS, students are required to complete a long-term internship with a company in France or abroad.

Credit Acquisition During the Program
Double Degree Program students need to plan their studies well in advance and make sure that they obtain the designated number of credits for each university to complete the program in 4 years. Students should complete a minimum of 120 ECTS at NBS (excluding transferred credits) to earn a degree from NBS (120 ECTS = Approx. 60 APU Credits). Please note that all required APM Major Education Subjects registered by the university must be completed prior to the departure.

*Academic credit received during the course of the program at NBS may be transferred to APU in accordance with Article 18 of APU University Regulations. The total number of transferred credits from NBS to APU shall not exceed 60 credits, including credits transferred from other institutions.
NBS Requirements for Program Completion
*NBS graduation requirements might be changed due to curriculum reforms at NBS and so on in the near future.
1) Designated subject
The subject students can register for at NBS are pre-determined based on what semester they are in their studies at APU. For students who enroll in the Spring semester, they will enroll in NBS during their 4th semester of the second-year, but at that point, they will take third-year courses as specified by NBS.
2) Internship
As a rule, an internship is compulsory for students to complete their degree at NBS. The internship takes place during the final semester at NBS. There are no classes during the semester. Students must complete a long-term internship with a company in France or abroad. The internship offers ECTS credits and it is a part of graduation requirements at NBS. Students are advised to check the internship requirements of NBS before seeking an internship site. Students wishing to do an internship outside of France must obtain the necessary visa on their own.
3) Language subjects
To earn a degree at NBS, students are required to take “French as a foreign language” during the 1st year at Neoma.
Program Fees
1) APU Tuition and Scholarships
Double Degree Program students pay tuition to APU during the 4 years in the program. Students do not have to pay tuition to NBS!
JASSO scholarships may be available for domestic Japanese students.
Tuition reduction scholarships will remain in effect even during the participation of the program if students meet the scholarship continuation conditions before leaving APU.
2) Fees
The following fees will be the responsibility of the participant during the program period.

Dismissal from the Program
Participants who fail to meet the program requirements including GPA and credit requirements will be dismissed from the program.
