Program Overview

・You can participate in curricular summer/winter programs offered at APU’s partner universities.
・In principle, you will be required to pay program fees.
・All credits acquired during the program will be reviewed by each college and the Division of Academic Affairs. If approved, these credits will be counted towards the student’s graduation at APU.
・Because many summer/winter programs center on intensive courses in English, you must possess a high level of English proficiency prior to participating in the program.
・If you participate in a program in-person, in addition to attending all of the host university’s classes, you must actively participate in class activities. Living and studying and abroad are invaluable experiences. However, life abroad can also be difficult and stressful. In principle, you are responsible for dealing with any problems you might experience abroad on your own. We expect you to have a keen awareness of your surroundings and the ability to act responsibly to avoid any dangerous situations.

Overseas Short-term Summer Programs [AY2026]

Applications are now open for the 2026 Short-term Summer Programs.
If you wish to participate, please read the application guidelines carefully before submitting your application.

Program Length	Approx. 1-4 weeks (Differs depending on the host university)	Program Timing	2nd Quarter - Summer Break (June - August)

Program fee	Differs depending on the host university
Number of Participants	Differs depending on the host university	Application Period	Application deadlines differ by program Students must submit application via the APU form no later than 2:00 p.m., one week prior to the host university’s application deadline.
Eligibility	Applicants must meet the application criteria set by each host university. Students must be in their 2nd to 7th semester. ※Please see the application information for other eligibility criteria.

We are recruiting participants for the 2025 Overseas Short-term Winter programs as follows.
If you would like to participate, please read the application guidelines carefully before applying.
