The UK is a multicultural country and is also immensely popular with international students. In fact, the UK is the second most popular destination for overseas students in the world.
Nottingham bustles with students – we're home to two major universities, attracting over 60,000 students to the city.
The city is the perfect size. It’s big enough to host many shops, restaurants and theatres as well as its castle and Arboretum, yet compact enough for you to easily explore all of this in a day. Despite being a great city in its own right, Nottingham also has convenient transport links to other major UK cities. Trains run regularly to London, Manchester and beyond and it’s particularly cheap to get to London via bus. East Midlands Airport is also close by, making it even better for keen travelers! The most popular legend to come from Nottingham is the internationally-known outlaw, Robin Hood. Countless tales have been told about the adventures of Robin Hood and a statue of him can be found right by Nottingham Castle. Sherwood Forest is also a popular tourist spot for fans of the infamous archer.
We've been named The Times and The Sunday Times Modern University of the Year 2023 for our commitment to delivering an unrivalled student experience, excellent graduate prospects and world-leading research.
At Nottingham Business School, we’re thinking about you and your future. We’re excited about your potential, which is why we do everything we can to untap it. From the moment you enrol, we dedicate our time and energy into expanding your opportunities and unleashing your confidence.
