The College of Staten Island is situated on a 204-acre green campus in New York City. With easy access to Manhattan, CSI students study in a bucolic and traditional US campus setting offering on-campus residence halls and traditional US campus life. Offering over 40 disciplines of study, including courses in business, education, the arts, humanities, and the sciences, all students have the opportunity to explore the many faceted academic departments as well as the greater environs of New York City.

Housing the CUNY Interdisciplinary High-Performance Computing Center, one of the most powerful supercomputers in the New York City region, the campus specializes in areas of study that use big-data analysis for faculty researchers and their student research teams.

Additionally, CSI boasts academic excellence in a number of disciplines including Business, Media Culture, Neuroscience, Biology, Autism-related research, Nursing, Engineering, English, and Psychology.
