Lucerne, a world-famous centre of tourism and culture and a vibrant, growing city, is also a centre of education. What began in 1971, has grown to become one of Switzerland’s most important business schools, with almost 3,000 students attending bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes and almost 7,000 students enrolled in continuing and executive education.
With the passage of time, the Lucerne School of Business has set the pace in Central Switzerland’s business education landscape and built up close ties with industry, government and third-sector partners.
These days, the School operates in such forward-looking areas as Data Analytics, Entrepreneurship and Tourism. This broad thematic spread is the substance of our reputation as the pre-eminent centre of excellence for entrepreneurial and management education in Central Switzerland. Moreover, the Lucerne School of Business acquired the AACSB accreditation in 2021. This challenges higher-education institutions to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their Business programmes. With many wide-ranging, collaborative ventures, involving national and international partners, the Lucerne School of Business prepares its students for roles in a globalised economy.
