Taylor's University is a private university in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located around 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, the capitol of Malaysia. Malaysia is a multi-ethnic, multicultural and multilingual society, consisting of approximately of 65% Malays, 25% Chinese, 7% Indians and other indigenous tribes. Bahasa Malaysia is the national language and English is widely spoken.

Malaysia, located in Southeast Asia, is comprised of Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia (sometimes referred to as North Borneo). The peninsular is bordered by Thailand in the north, and Singapore in the south, while East Malaysia is bordered by the South China Sea and Indonesia in the south. It is home to a few UNESCO World Heritage Sites and national parks, and not forgetting the world’s tallest free-standing twin towers, the Petronas Twin Towers located right in the heart of the capital city

The quality of the undergraduate teaching and learning at Taylor’s University was acknowledged when it garnered a ‘Tier 5: Excellent’ rating in the Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education (SETARA) in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2017. Essentially, Taylor’s University has been listed as the top 89 in Asia for the QS Asia Ranking 2021. Taylor’s University has been ranked 379 in the QS World University Rankings 2021 and broken into the QS Top 50 under 50 World University Rankings. Taylor’s University was also awarded 5-Star rating in seven categories of the QS Stars Rating 2019-2022 namely Online Learning, Teaching, Employability, Internationalization, Facilities, Inclusiveness and Subject Ranking; recognizing the strength of Taylor’s Hospitality and Leisure Management. These achievements are important milestones for Taylor’s, in line with its aim of becoming one of Asia’s leading universities.
