Because of the permanent presence of mountains, Innsbruck is the perfect combination of urban life and nature. People love to go hiking in summer and skiing in winter here.

Furthermore the city of Innsbruck – as the capital of the Region Tyrol - offers everything needed, still, due to the size of Innsbruck it is easy to commute around and find everything. In addition to that Innsbruck can be considered as a very safe place with a high quality of living.

Innsbruck is home to various higher education institutions and therefore considered as a student city – hosting about 35,000 students. Which is quite a lot bearing in mind that Innsbruck is home to about 130,000 people all together.

Moreover, Austria shares borders with eight other countries (Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein), making it the perfect spot to travel around on weekends.

Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) was established in 1995 and is considered a relatively young institution. Nevertheless, MCI has since then earned accreditation by the AACSB Association (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

We consider ourselves standing for internationality, academic quality, practice orientation & innovation as well as close cooperation with industry and first-class infrastructure. MCI offers a range of services to facilitate student life, promote qualification and help establish networks, such Library, Language Center, Student Counselling, Alumni & Friends and Career Center.

Course contents target all levels of personal development and include state-of-the-art knowledge relevant to business, engineering and society. Quality teaching with focus on theory and practice; small groups of students; interactive teaching as well as international student and staff population predominantly constitute its academic strengths.
