Denmark is a small country with a population of approximately 5,8 million. The country consists of more than 440 islands. Nowhere in Denmark is more than 50 km for the sea.
Danes are some of the happiest people on the planet. Maybe the Danish welfare system with its equal rights to benefits such as healthcare and education is one of the reasons why.
Denmark is famous for vikings, LEGO, H.C. Andersen’s fairytales, high-quality design and architecture, bicycle culture, the royal family and green energy, to name a few.
Copenhagen, home of Copenhagen Business School, mixes royal history, modern architecture and loads of culture with sustainable living and a mouthwatering cuisine.
Copenhagen Business School (CBS) was established in 1917. Today, with 20,000 students and 1,500 employees, CBS is one of the largest business schools in Europe and one of the 8 Danish universities. CBS is Denmark’s largest educational and research institution within business administration and economics in a wide sense. CBS offers world-class research-based degree programmes at undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels as well as executive and other post experience programmes. CBS is “triple crown” accredited (EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB), an acknowledgement only shared by around 100 business schools worldwide. CBS is also the Danish member of CEMS (the Global Alliance in Management Education) and a member of PIM (Partnership in International Management).
