The University of Warsaw is a university with over 200 years of tradition and it consists of 21 faculties and 30 academic units. It is located in the capital of Poland, one of the most dynamically developing European cities. Taking into account the total number of research universities that reaches 20 thousand, the University of Warsaw is among the top 3% of the world’s best universities. According to international rankings, it also is the best university in Poland and one of the leading ones in this region of Europe. The University employs 3,800 scholars and approximately 45,000 people study here.

The Faculty of Political Science and International Studies is one of the largest teaching and research units of its kind, not only in Poland but also throughout Central and Eastern Europe. We operate as a part of the best and the largest Polish university – the University of Warsaw. Close to three and a half thousand students gain knowledge within our walls on both a full-time and part-time basis. The educational offer consists of nine highly attractive and prestigious programmes in Polish and five in English. The professors, lecturers, and employees at the Faculty form a unique team, on a nationwide scale, of both theorists and practitioners.
