Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is a historical city with an enchanting and unusual character, where 800 years of varying cultural influences mix with the most modern trends and lifestyles, creating a diverse atmosphere that makes all visitors feel welcome. The ISCTE Campus has an exceptional location in the city centre and offers modern, spacious and functional facilities.
Lisbon is a two-hour flight from the main European cities. A safe city, it also has an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Famous for its light, but also for its climate, Lisbon is the closest European capital to wonderful beaches, providing students with a combination of studies and days well-spent by the sea.
As one of Portugal’s first modern universities, ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon is organized into four schools: the Business School, the School of Social Sciences, the School of Sociology and Public Policy and the School of Technology and Architecture. On campus, students find not only a robust intellectual tradition, with mentorship from teaching staff involved in cutting-edge research, but also a vibrant, multicultural environment. Of the approximately 10,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, nearly 20% are international, coming from 80 different countries.
The ISCTE campus has an exceptional location in the city centre and offers modern, spacious and functional facilities.
Each semester, a large variety of courses are taught in English; additionally, many Portuguese-taught courses have tutorials in English. Mobility students can choose any courses from any of ISCTE’s schools.
