On September 21, Associate Professor Steven Pattison, of the Center for Language Education (CLE) held a seminar entitled “Building Receptive Pragmatic Awareness Through Reading”.
Professor Todoroki held a seminar on “Mountain and Water: Space Recognition in Japan and Korea” as part of his Grant-in-Aid project on “Basic Research of “Sugyeong” in the geographical recognition of the Joeseon’s Korea”. This was an online seminar attended by knowledgable experts, as well as students who had an active discussion about many issues related to the perception of mountains and water in both Japan and Korea. This seminar was a culmination of Professor Todoroki’s continued hard work to achieve his research goals.
