My dream is to transform the stereotypical image of Africa through film and media and bring about a positive change in global perceptions. Having grown up in Kenya, I have become deeply concerned about the misconceptions created by the one-sided portrayal of Africa often seen in the media. In the future, I hope to deepen my understanding of the media industry and help communicate the true richness and cultural diversity of Africa, contributing to a society where everyone is represented authentically and respectfully.

At APU, I aim to broaden my global perspective and develop critical insights through my studies in the College of Asia Pacific Studies. I strongly believe that creative forms of media, such as music and film, have the power to foster inclusion and mutual understanding among diverse communities. My interactions with people from different backgrounds at APU and my experiences living in Japan have been both inspiring and enriching, offering new discoveries every day.
