My name is Dai Kano, I graduated from APS in 2014. I deeply resonate with the vision of this fund—"empowering Change Makers from APU to transform society"—and have made a small contribution to support this initiative. When I was a student, I was involved in various activities, including the Thai educational support NGO PRENGO, as a Resident Assistant (RA) at AP House, and working as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for Workshop II (now Multi-Cultural Workshop). After spending ten years as a company employee, I took the leap into entrepreneurship. Now, I support startups across Kyushu, including entrepreneurial initiatives by APU students. Additionally, as the Fukuoka Chapter Representative of the APU Alumni Association, I actively engage in initiatives for APU, its graduates, and current students. One thing that has remained unchanged, both during my student years and now as an alumnus, is my belief that "helping others grow is my greatest motivation." My own journey—filled with meaningful encounters, challenges, failures, and successes at APU—has shaped who I am today. That is why, as an alumnus, I want to support the challenges and growth of current students. By giving back to APU, I hope to contribute to its continued development and remain a Change Maker myself.
