Germany is a very beautiful country with a lot of beautiful places to visit for example many waterfalls and old castles. Germany has also a lot of beautiful history which is reflected in the individual places (f.e. castle in Karlsruhe), it has also a very good health care system. Karlsruhe was once the heart of Baden and is, therefore, a city with character, history, many activities and nice people. In Karlsruhe, it is very easy to get from one point to another with public transport.

Karlshochschule creates a very personal and intimate climate which makes it a very safe space to develop yourself with others, to create a very special learning environment. Our lectures are always in small groups of students which is why you will always be heard by our professors and other students. At Karlshochschule we embrace diversity, with a 50% international student ratio, our international campus and classrooms give you the opportunity to thrive as an individual. All employees and lecturers will always be there to support you in any possible way.

Every incoming exchange student will have a so-called "Karls Buddy“. The Buddies are students from Karls who are a friend and point of contact to all exchange students. They are here to support, help and advise in any possible way. Additional to that do we have a student councillor and a house psychologist. Nevertheless, our door in the International Office is always open.
