On Monday, October 27, a Midterm Report Meeting by the APU Student Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members was held on the APU campus. The purpose of the meeting was to share their progress and deliberation outcomes to date with APU’s executives regarding the initiative’s core objective, envisioning the APU campus as a place to realize the Lifelong Learner (LLL) concept, and to receive guidance on future directions.

On Sunday, October 26, APU hosted an interim presentation on campus by the High School Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members. The purpose of this session was to share the progress the high school students are making on ongoing projects and hold in-depth discussions with President Yoneyama and other APU executives.

On Thursday, October 2 and Friday, October 3, 2025, the Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members conducted a study tour in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The aim of their visit was to explore innovative examples and gain insights into how the APU campus could embody the concept of Lifelong Learners (LLL)—the central theme of their activities this year.

From Saturday, September 13 to Monday, September 15, 2025, the High School Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members held a training camp in Tokyo. Held on the theme of “Cycle of Relearning,” the aim of the camp was to collect information and conduct field research to deepen discussions on the ideal form of universities and the future of learning in the next generation.

In August 2025, the High School Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members held discussions on this year’s designated theme, “Learning Continuously as Lifelong Learners,” and they began considering how to implement the concept in society.

The Current Student Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members have been holding ongoing discussions to further develop this year’s activity theme—the Lifelong Learner (LLL) Initiative. In addition, they organized an exchange meeting with past Summit Members and faculty mentors, broadening their perspectives for future activities through intergenerational dialogue.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, High School Future Visionary Vice President and Summit Members visited APU for the first time to participate in an official appointment ceremony and workshop.
