During the first wave of travel restrictions imposed worldwide, I was unable to come back to Japan and the university, and I was stranded in my country for eight months.
I faced many challenges, such as financial hurdles including loss of part-time jobs and overdue bills, and also loss of motivation to study as best as I could.
I would not have been able to overcome those obstacles if I had not received APU’s COVID relief aid.
