Researching Solutions to Logistics Challenges for Social Contribution
I am currently collaborating with Yamato Transport to tackle the “last-mile delivery” challenges in logistics. My research focuses on addressing critical issues, such as driver shortages and the rise in redelivery demands, by leveraging mathematical models to improve efficiency. For instance, we are exploring the possibility of reducing re-delivery costs by improving inefficient delivery routes and utilizing gig workers. Being able to propose practical solutions that address real-world problems and contribute to society gives me great fulfillment.
Looking ahead, I plan to present the results of this research at an international conference. By participating in two conferences on logistics and information technology, I aim to deepen my studies and engage with researchers worldwide. With deep gratitude for the support provided by the APU Alumni Association Support Change Makers Fund, I am determined to make the most of the knowledge I have gained at APU. My goal is to embody the vision of “APU Graduates possess the power to change our world.” through my work and research.
